In this page I would like to bring briefly into focus some "provocative" themes related to the contemporary transcendental philosophy. Through these themes are spread the ideas of two different philosophers who are developing present-day reinterpretations of Kant's ethical and epistemological thought.
It is my intention to establish a critical comparison among the divergent ways of interpreting a valid structure of a transcendental argument. The point of the comparison is to indicate that the Kant's reinterpretation of the second philosopher can throw some light in certain obscure areas of the reconstruction tried for the first one.
These two philosophers are:
Karl-Otto Apel and Zeljko Loparic.

If you want to find out a little bit more about reinterpretations of the transcendental idealism, if you are interested in the debate about this subject, or if you are a biting critical of this kind of thought, you are invited to participate in the discussion of these philosophers' ideas.
Feel free to access the the visitors' page right after the reading and add your comments, impressions, criticisms or suggestions. As soon as I have a certain amount of contributions a new link will take you to the readers reactions page.
